The second transnational meeting of the Co-Create project took place in Middelfart, Denmark, from April 7 to 11, 2025. This meeting focused on the themes of design thinking and playful learning, offering new perspectives on how digital literacy can be integrated into education.
Monday: Welcome Dinner
The week began with a warm and informal welcome dinner, giving participants the opportunity to reconnect and prepare for the days ahead.
Tuesday
The first working day started at Middelfart Town Hall, where the municipality hosted the group and officially welcomed them to Denmark. Activities included:
- An introduction to the project website, providing a shared platform for communication and sharing outcomes.
- School presentations: each participating school introduced their context and shared their goals for the Co-Create project.
- A practical session on eTwinning: ensuring all participants had access to the Twinspace and were comfortable using it for collaboration.
- A collaborative evaluation of the first Learnathon in mixed-country groups, sharing what worked well and identifying areas for improvement.
- A highly engaging presentation on AI in education by Hjörtur from Iceland, offering practical insights into how teachers can use AI tools effectively.
- A hands-on workshop on design thinking, where international teams designed their ideal Danish school.



Wednesday
The day began with a presentation on Playful Learning, exploring how creativity and play can support digital and pedagogical development.
In the afternoon:
- Teachers and school leaders worked in parallel groups to start designing their second Learnathon, building on the insights from the previous sessions.
- The day ended with an inspiring visit to the LEGO House in Billund, where participants experienced first-hand how play and learning come together in powerful ways.



Thursday
On the final day, the group visited Gelsted School, the Danish pilot school. The visit included a guided tour, classroom observations, and a Q&A session with the school staff about their approach to digital literacy.
In the afternoon:
- The teams continued developing their Learnathon 2 plans, ensuring they were ready to implement them back at home.
- The meeting closed with a reflection and evaluation session, helping align next steps and reinforcing the collaborative spirit of the project.
